Alex Dzamtovski
Music has been a constant presence in my life since childhood. Over the years I have played in a variety of bands, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in Music, operated my own recording studio, and spent considerable time exploring the therapeutic potential of sound.
By late 2012, I was working with bands from Chicago I was meeting at shows. Since then I have collaborated with a diverse group of artists including Martha Wash, Fredo Viola, and Luis Mojica, helping them promote albums, tours, and events. My work has included securing press coverage, radio airplay, Spotify playlist placements, podcast features, social media exposure, and identifying licensing opportunities that help expand an artist’s reach.
At the same time my interest in the relationship between meditation and sound continued to grow. I began studying neuroscience, psychology, and other fields that explore how sound affects the mind and body. Eventually I started hosting weekly sound meditation sessions at Sangha House, an experience that later evolved into the creation of Music Immersion Therapy Plus.
These days my mornings are typically devoted to working with musicians and developing creative strategies to promote their work, while my afternoons are focused on Music Immersion Therapy Plus. It may seem like an unusual combination, but the common thread through everything I do has always been music.
If you are interested in either service, feel free to reach out. I would be happy to connect and learn more about what you are working on whether it's yourself or an album.
